Concord man arrested with 100 pounds of meth in van

(KRON) — A California Highway Patrol officer pulled a van over on Interstate-680 in Concord and found 100 pounds of methamphetamine inside the vehicle, according to the CHP.

The drug bust happened on the morning of August 29 near I-680’s Marina Vista Road exit. The officer initially pulled the white GMC van over because of a traffic violation.

CHP officers identified the van driver as Magdaleno Quezada Garcia, 47, of Concord.
