HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) reported a Tyner Middle School student was arrested for threatening mass violence. At 1:00 p.m., September 11, 2024, the School Resource Deputy (SRD) assigned to Tyner Middle School was made aware of a student who verbally threatened to “shoot the school up”.
