Indoor pickleball coming to Chapel Hills Mall

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — You’ll soon get to play pickleball year round thanks to indoor courts being built at the Chapel Hills Mall.

According to the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD) Peak Pickleball is moving in to the old space inside the mall where Burlington Coat Factory used to be, on the west side of Dillard’s. The facility will boast four 34 x 64 Championship courts, 19 recreational courts (32 x 62), one private court, ADA accessibility, a high grade sound system, and more.

The facility will also host league events, open play, and will welcome players of all skill levels, according to Peak Pickleball’s website.

PPRBD said an inspector visited the site on Wednesday, Sept. 11 and provided some progress photos.
