RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -Almost 2,000 inmates have been swapped between two Nevada prisons as the Nevada Department of Corrections switched security status between them. Ely State Prison in White Pine County is now a medium-security prison. High Desert Prison in Clark County is now a maximum-security prison, NDOC said Wednesday.
