Wallace will step down from his position on Oct. 4, the CEO’s 35-year anniversary with Texas Children’s, the system said in a press release Thursday. Weeks after Texas Children’s Hospital confirmed a 5% slash in its workforce, the system announced CEO Mark Wallace will retire from his position.
