MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Stair climbs took place in Mobile and Baldwin counties on Thursday as the community remembered the 9/11 attacks. At the University of South Alabama, the college’s Army and Air Force cadets, joined by other students, took part in a stair walk at Stanky Field. Those who attended climbed the number of stairs equivalent to the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.
