Family of slain Oklahoma man offers reward for information in the case

A family devastated by homicide four years ago has come forward to ask the public for help in finding the person who took the life of a beloved son.

Madison Carter, 30, was shot to death in 2020 while sitting in a parked vehicle in the 2700 block of Justin Place, near NE 23 and North Douglass Boulevard in Spencer.

Also found dead at the scene was Dominique Knight, 26. Authorities believe Carter was shot by a suspect while sitting in the front driver’s seat of the vehicle. Knight got out of the passenger seat and collapsed in a yard.

At the Oklahoma County sheriff’s office on Wednesday, Carter’s family, through tears, offered a reward of $10,000 for anyone who has information leading to the arrest of the suspect in the case.

“All I wanna say is I miss my son,” Tana Carter, Madison Carter’s mother, told reporters. “I don’t have words to say.”
