A drive-thru coffee bar founded in North Carolina in 2018 will open its first, of two locations, in Fayetteville this month.
Clutch Coffee Bar at 3619 Ramsey St. is celebrating a grand opening Sept. 21 with free coffee, a news release said. The 850-square-foot freestanding building was constructed on a half-acre lot across from Rainbow restaurant next to KFC where Laser Clean car wash once stood.
In anticipation of its local opening, Clutch Coffee Bar will drop off complimentary java to teachers and staff at Terry Sanford and Pine Forest high schools, and to nearby fire stations and police substations on Sept. 18, the release said.
The Fayetteville Ramsey Street location is the seventh in the company’s N.C. portfolio. Local veteran, Matt Cain, is the head of operations at the new shop, the release said. The drive-thru coffeehouse company has seven other locations in South Carolina, according to the company website .
Nic Bryant, publicist for Clutch Coffee Bar, said Monday that the company is opening a second location on Grove Street in early 2025.
