Elections board in Fayetteville: Kennedy ballot decision on means reprinting for thousands

Third-party U.S. presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s narrow win at the North Carolina Supreme Court has meant a setback for people hoping to vote early by mail, which includes those unable to make it to in-person voting and military members serving overseas. It has also meant a scramble for officials in the state’s 100 county boards of election, including staff in Cumberland County, whose office must now spend money to reprint thousands of ballots.
