A man was shot and killed after a standoff with police. On Sept. 4, 37-year-old Karl Komorowski violated an order of protection at a house – occupied with an adult female and child – near 56th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. The Glendale Police Department said that several neighbors notified them that Komorowski was armed.
