SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – It’s a fresh start for physical education classes across Springfield Public Schools where new equipment is rolling in thanks to recent grant funding. $5,000 in Springfield Education Foundation (SEF) grants split between the district’s 12 elementary schools is supplementing high-need items like soccer balls, playground balls, poly spots, and tumbling mats to meet state PE outcomes.
