Vancouver woman arrested for strangling cat in apartment lobby: ‘Emotional support cat’

VANCOUVER, Wash. – A Vancouver apartment complex was the site of a disturbing scene on Tuesday after a woman was caught allegedly strangling a cat. The Vancouver Police Department says detectives with the DV Unit were at an apartment complex at 1000 W Columbia Way on September 10 for an unrelated call for service. However, the manager of the building informed the detectives that there was a woman at the complex visiting another tenant who was seen in the lobby strangling a cat.
