David Pollack Predicts Winner of LSU-South Carolina in Week 3

The No. 16 LSU Tigers (1-1) will pay a visit to the South Carolina Gamecocks for an SEC clash on Saturday, September 14. The stage is set with ESPN’s “College GameDay” on-site at the infamous Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.

After falling to No. 11 USC in the season opener, Brian Kelly’s Tigers bounced back with a 44-21 win over Nichols in Week 2. On the other side, Shane Beamer’s Gamecocks secured an upset road win at Kentucky to stay perfect through two weeks of play.

LSU has won seven straight matches against South Carolina dating back to 2002. The last time the two met came in 2020, a 52-24 win in Baton Rouge.

There are plenty of differences between these teams, especially on offense. College football analyst David Pollack believes that the game will ultimately come down to quarterback play.

“I like LSU in this game strictly because of the quarterback play,” he said on “David Pollack College Football.”
