FORT WORTH, Texas – A person was hit and killed by a DART train Thursday evening in Fort Worth. According to the Fort Worth Police Department, a person, who they believe was walking on the tracks, was hit and killed by a DART train near the intersection of E. 1st St. and Penland St. around 5 p.m. The person was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
