ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Georgia parents are demanding immediate action from state leaders in the wake of the Apalachee High School shooting. Parents across the state say the shooting has ignited their worst fears. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said 14-year-old suspected school shooter Colt Gray concealed the AR-style rifle in his backpack. He was excused from class to go to the office, but instead hid in the bathroom before beginning the shooting.
