Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz told rally-goers that his Republican counterpart JD Vance made a big mistake by dissing “ childless cat ladies .”
Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and Walz shortly after the Democratic presidential nominee finished debating Donald Trump on Tuesday.
The pop superstar signed her endorsement on Instagram, “Childless Cat Lady. Swift’s post featured an image of her holding one of her cats.
Speaking at a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Thursday, the Minnesota governor wrapped up his remarks by thanking the singer and throwing shade at Vance:
One final thank you. Thank you to my fellow cat owner Taylor Swift.
