TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Tallahassee Police Department arrested a 21-year-old man Wednesday in connection to a home invasion turned shooting. Tyree Gilyard is charged with home invasion and is booked in the Leon County Detention Facility. Newly released arrest papers say he was the getaway driver for a home invasion that took place Wednesday afternoon at The Social 2700 apartments on West Pensacola Street.
