Invasive Spotted Lanternfly swarms downtown Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The spotted lanternfly is an invasive species of insect we’ve been talking about for years, and the problem is getting worse. Swarms of the insects have been observed recently in downtown Toledo, but it’s even worse elsewhere. The city of Pittsburgh has had these pests for longer, and the swarms there have grown so large that recently they were picked up on weather radar.
