An Ohio man killed his fiancée and baby daughter in a double murder suicide while FaceTiming his friend.
On Tuesday night 22-year-old Jaden Robinson killed Isabella Addington, 20, and Imani Robinson, 4 months old, then himself following a domestic dispute , according to Columbus police. Robinson had been texting and FaceTiming a friend at the time of the incident who called police after he heard gunshots .
“I was talking on the phone with my friend, and I heard gunshots go off,” the friend said. “The phone fell. I’m not sure what is going on over there.” A 911 dispatcher asked the friend if he thought Robinson had shot himself, and he said it was possible.
Robinson’s friend sounded shocked, repeatedly saying “oh my god” to himself between questions from the dispatcher, the Columbus Dispatcher reported. “I don’t know why he even called me to do that,” he said. “I just don’t understand.”
