Plastics manufacturer Profile Films Inc.’s expansion plans took another step forward as the city advanced its proposed 100,000-square-foot facility on the northwest side. The Grand Rapids Planning Commission on Thursday approved the company’s plans to build a new manufacturing and warehouse facility at 701 Ann St. NW, just south of Profile Film’s facility at 1976 Avastar Parkway in Walker and just east of the Alpine Avenue intersection.
