“I thought she was gone”: Biker community rallies for hospitalized rider Rose Jamie after crash

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bikers from all over the state rode into town, to show up for a fellow rider. After hospitalized biker Rose Jamie recorded her chilling crash live depicting her, slamming into the back of a car that pulled in front of her. A crash other riders said they have never seen anyone recover from.

“Nobody comes from an accident at 70 miles an hour on a freeway and lives to tell about it, nobody,” said Fresno biker James Velandria. “My heart was broken when I heard about it and when I found out she was okay I was just filled with joy.”

This drove all those who know her to Kern Medical to wave and get a glance at her from her hospital room, pray for her, and sing spiritual songs to lift her spirits.

“You have led me through the fire in the darkest night you are there like no other,” sang one rider.
