Governor Mike Parson awarded Missouri Public Safety Medals to 28 first responders on Friday for their life-saving actions during 2023. These include the Medal of Valor, the Governor’s Award, and the Red, White, and Blue Heart Award, which are Missouri’s highest honors for first responders. Two Red, White, and Blue Heart Awards were presented posthumously. Additionally, three civilians received the Public Safety Civilian Partnership Award for their brave assistance during emergency situations.
