Newly renovated Springfield Public Library reopens to the public

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The Springfield Public Library is back open to the public after going through some renovations. The library reopened on Tuesday after being closed since August 19 and during the closure crews and library workers brought the facility up to modern standards. They added more public meeting spaces, including a new teen area for focused study and socializing. Other upgrades include improved accessibility and a newly-made flow for the kids and tweens area. An expanded book sale nook and improved service desk were also implemented for staff to serve the public.
