PORTAGE, MI – In the “spirit of mutual aid,” the Portage City Council voted unanimously to sell two vehicles recently retired to Kalamazoo Township. The police retired a 2010 and 2011 Ford Taurus, both with more than 105,000 miles. The township agreed during a Sept. 10 meeting to sell them for $4,000 each.
