Autumn Cleveland passed away in Maine
A Virginia family is mourning the loss of a loved one who moved to another state to live out her dream. NBC News Center in Dayton, Maine, reports that 23-year-old Autumn Danielle Cleveland was found dead in her car in the area in late August.
The Maine police revealed Cleveland was from Newport News. She was found on September 2, but no cause of death has been revealed, and an autopsy is pending.
An investigation into the death is taking place
Autumn had traveled to Maine with her sister, fell in love with the area, and decided to move there. The Daily Mail reports that she was first reported missing on Saturday (August 31).
Two days later, she was found dead in her blue 2018 Mazda CX5 in Dayton, a small town about 25 miles southwest of Portland. A candlelight vigil was held near where Autumn was found, and the investigation is ongoing.
