BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — In the ongoing battle against Kern’s Dog Crisis, the Bakersfield Animal Care Center will be waiving its adoption fees for all pets at the shelter on Friday the 13th.
BACC is open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the shelter is located at 201 South Mount Vernon Avenue, right off Highway 58.

Even after last weekend’s “Clear the Shelters” event, there are still hundreds of deserving pets that still need a forever home.
No appointment is necessary to make an adoption. Stop by the shelter and add a new furry friend to your family, for free.
