Starting Sunday, a transition to cooler, fall-like weather is expected as a low-pressure system moves in from the Pacific Northwest. This system will bring gusty southerly winds on Sunday and Monday, along with a potential for more wildfire smoke to be transported into the region. The cooler temperatures will persist through next week, with highs expected to be 10 to 15 degrees below normal, providing a break from the recent warmth.
