Longs man accused of making threatening phone calls to witness from detention center

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – An Horry County man is tacking new charges on his already long rap sheet after allegedly threatening a witness in his case over the phone. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said 39-year-old Lashon Ladson is now charged with two counts of unlawful telephone communication. He allegedly made 25 threatening phone calls while incarcerated at J Reuben Long Detention Center to a witness within two weeks between Aug. 23 and Sept. 3.
