‘A Historic Event for Trans Visibility’: Boise Pride Festival has its first Trans March

BOISE, Idaho – The Transgender population is relatively small, not only in Idaho but in the U.S. According to the Williams Institute, a think tank at UCLA Law that is dedicated to conducting research on sexual orientation and gender identity law and public policy, in 2022, 8,000 people considered themselves transgender in the Gem State. In Idaho the population is 1.939 million.
