600 Kapiolani Medical Center nurses strike on Friday

HONOLULU (Island News) – After a year’s worth of bargaining talks failed, 600 of the Hawaii Nurses Association members took to the streets Friday morning for a 24-hour strike. Baby Bodie turned eight days old on Friday. He’s in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with his mother right now, with a possible discharge in a few weeks.
