TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Tampa woman claimed a $1 million prize from a scratch-off ticket she bought at a Florida Publix, the Lottery District Officer announced Friday.
Isabelle Turner, 57, played the $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR, which she purchased from Publix at 5801 Southwest 75th Street in Gainesville. The retailer will get a $2,000 bonus for the sale.

Turner chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000, the lottery said.
The $50 scratch-off game has two top prizes of $1 million a year for life, along with 234 prizes of $1 million. The game’s odds of winning are 1-in-4.5.
Since its inception, Florida’s scratch-off games have generated nearly $62 billion in prizes, and more than $19.24 billion for Florida’s Education Enhancement Trust Fund.
