Mechanicville man charged with selling cocaine

MECHANICVILLE, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — A Mechanicville man was arrested on Thursday following a drug investigation, according to police. Tyrel Archambeault, 46, is facing multiple charges.

On September 12 around 3:30 p.m., Mechanicville Police responded to Davenport Estates following a report of suspicious activity in the area. During the ensuing investigation, Archambeault was identified as a person of interest and was allegedly found with a significant amount of cocaine and over $10,000 in cash while being interviewed by police.

Archambeault was then taken into custody without incident. He now faces the following charges:

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Third-degree criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell
  • Second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia

Albany man arrested on weapon charges

Archambeault was processed at the Mechanicville Police Department before being arraigned. The investigation remains ongoing.
