Q&A: Kate McDonnell talks new album ‘Trapeze,’ launch show at Caffe Lena

ALBANY – On Friday, the Capital Region’s Kate McDonnell is set to celebrate the release of her sixth record, “Trapeze,” with a performance at the venerated Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs. The folk-rock artist, who quirkily plays her guitar “upside down and backwards,” has taken monumental strides forward in not only her songwriting capabilities with this new batch of tunes, but with the delivery of song, as well. Backed by her band, the Right Hand Men, McDonnell is sure to deliver a night not to be missed!
