The Texas Longhorns once again flexed their muscles as one of the best teams in college football.
Unfortunately, it came at a price as starting quarterback Quinn Ewers suffered an injury. In turn, Arch Manning got extended playing time and showed the entire nation why he was a highly-touted recruit.
Manning went 9-for-12 with 223 yards and four passing scores while adding a 67-yard touchdown run in the 56-7 blowout over UTSA.
On Sunday, Hayes Fawcett of On3 posted a stat that put Manning’s top speed up there with that of Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill.
Manning’s top speed: 20.7 MPH. Hill’s top speed: 20.3 MPH.
It is quite the stat and showed Manning’s talents.
After replacing Ewers, he rattled off a must-see 67-yard touchdown run that had fans buzzing immediately.
After Fawcett posted those numbers, fans were in pure disbelief.
