CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women’s soccer team will host West Georgia on Sunday, September 15 for Senior Day. The Cougars enter the matchup coming off a 5-0 win versus local foe Charleston Southern. The Cougars got on the board in the 22nd minute, when a cross from Delaney Dawes found Faith Slimmer on the front post. Slimmer earned her second goal of the day in the 40th minute, when a ball from Millie Cluxton found Slimmer behind the Buccaneers’ back line, putting the ball past the keeper into the left side of the net. Charleston entered the break with a 2-0 lead.
