( PINPOINT WEATHER ) — Other than breezy conditions at times and a stray shower, the weather looks pretty pleasant for our Sunday. Temperatures will be around 80 degrees today and winds will gust between 20-25 mph. Looking at a little more humidity today as well.
No issues for any Panthers tailgating today. Some of you might want to consider strapping stuff down with the strong breeze. The forecast for the home opener looks excellent. It will be interesting to see if the wind becomes a factor today with passing and kicking. A spotty shower can’t be ruled out, but the chance of rain is very low.
There may be a few peaks of sun through the day, but clouds will dominate the forecast overall. We will remain breezy tonight and mostly cloudy, with temperatures falling back into the 60s.
We are tracking the chance for tropical development offshore. Even if that disturbance off of the Carolinas’ coastline becomes a tropical system, it won’t change much with the forecast across our region.
