MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Today brings a significant chance of showers and thunderstorms, with some storms potentially producing heavy rainfall. The Weather Prediction Center has placed portions of our area under a slight risk for flash flooding. We’ll be closely monitoring rainfall rates throughout the day. This unsettled pattern will continue into Monday and Tuesday before drier air moves in later in the week. As we approach the weekend, temperatures will rise again, with highs near 90° under mostly sunny skies.
