WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – Two neighborhoods are shocked and horrified after a 40-year-old allegedly broke into his neighbor’s house and fatally stabbed an 81-year-old woman. “He isn’t a mean person. He doesn’t have a criminal history,” said Adam Rankin, who lives in the same neighborhood as the family of Anthony Flanagan. “This is a shock to everyone who knows him.”
