ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The pilot who died in a plane crash Saturday in Wasilla is identified as Jon Bergstedt, 71, Anchorage, the Alaska State Troopers said. Bergstedt was the pilot of an experimental plane that resembles a Piper PA 12. He died when the aircraft crashed in a residential neighborhood Saturday morning in Wasilla.
