TyRunnosaurus Family Fun Run comes to NM Museum of Natural History and Science

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – On Sunday, the Museum of Natural History and Science held its TyRunnosaurus Family Fun Run.

The event offered families a chance to do a 1K or 5K run or walk, in which everybody could participate. Funds raised will support the work the museum does to help educate children around the state.

“The funds that come for this event help support the programs the we run in the museum and [for] when we take our programs out on the road and hit some of the more rural parts of our state, so we’re very appreciative of the public supporting this event, having fun, and then supporting our programs,” said Museum Executive Director Dr. Anthony Fiorillo.

All racers received a medal, an event t-shirt, and refreshments at the finish line. They were also honorary museum members for the day with full access to all the museum has to offer.
