Firefighters help recover three stranded roller coaster riders at Six Flags over Texas

First responders were called to Six Flags Over Texas over the weekend after a roller coaster cart on the Pandemonium coaster stopped, stranding its riders.

At approximately 9 p.m., the Arlington Fire Department received a 911 call from the amusement park, requesting their assistance with the stuck roller coaster

Arlington firefighters assisted 3 park goers get off the coaster, formerly known as the Big Spin, via the ladder.

Arlington’s Assistant Fire Chief, Gerald Randall, shared with KRLD that “it’s been a long time since Six Flags has needed our assistance.”

There were no injuries during the evacuation.
