WACO, Texas ( Fox 44 ) — 18th-ranked Baylor volleyball made quick work of the Samford Bulldogs — winning in straight sets, 25-13, 25-19 and 25-12.
Allie Sczech led the Bears with 10 kills, while Ava Grace Haggard and Harley Kreck achieved their first respective service aces. The Bears also held Samford to a .102 hitting percentage. The match was the first-ever between the two schools. The victory over Samford completed a two game sweep in the Baylor Invitational. The Bears best LSU in the first match last Thursday night.
Baylor continues its home matches, with Texas paying a visit to the Ferrell Center on Wednesday, September 18.
