HORRY COUNTY, SC (WPDE) – Gas prices across the country are declining, dropping six cents since last week to an average national price of $3.24 a gallon, according to AAA. In the Myrtle Beach area, the average price across pumps is $2.71 a gallon, which is a 10-cent drop from just a week ago, a 36-cent drop from a month ago, and a 77-cent drop from this time last year.
