A frustrating opening half for the Jaguars. Here are my random thoughts at halftime.
Losing Evan Engram in pregame really hurts. The extent of his injury is unknown but he definitely is not able to give it a go today.
Tank Bigsby injured his shoulder on fumbled kickoff. The Jags were super lucky the Browns were offside but not so lucky on the status of Tank.
TrEverBank has been mostly NeverBank in the first half. He was CleverBank on his 33 yard scramble down the goalline. Settling for three felt more like bank fraud.
Deshaun Watson is 11/15 and those four incompletions were all Amari Cooper targets who had all zeros on the stat sheet thus far.
Seriously? Can we not give up 36 yards on a 4th and 1 rushing attempt. Is that even possible? Jerome Ford with 6 carries for 62 yards at the break.
Trevor 5 of 11 for 16 yards.
Browns are without their starting two Tackles and not a lot of pressure coming from Jacksonville. Josh Hines-Allen does have a sack. Montaric Brown and Roy Robertson-Harris each have tackles for loss.
