PAPILLION, Neb. (WOWT) — Sarpy County residents honored first responders past and present by paying tribute to those who served on September 11, 2001. An early morning ceremony took place on Sunday in front of the Shadow Lake Hy-Vee in Papillion. Organizers said nearly 100 community members from across the Metro area participated.
