[1] City councilor introducing social media accountability resolution – An Albuquerque city councilor is looking to create a policy to keep city officials accountable for social media posts. In a resolution, councilor Renee Grout says while city employees have a right to their own opinions, they should do so under their own name and not under the city’s. The resolution comes less than two weeks after city councilors called out the director of communications for APD for social media posts. The resolution calls for specific disciplinary actions to be defined if it’s broken.
