The Samuel H. Miller Foundation has donated to the Cleveland Kosher Food Pantry’s efforts to continue to expand its reach in the Cleveland area. The gift, which is a “significant portion” of the pantry’s overall $3 million campaign budget, will be given in installments, with the first shared with the pantry in July, Sarah Yaffe Alevsky, executive director of the Cleveland Kosher Food Pantry, told the Cleveland Jewish News. It will be put toward the pantry’s new location at 4090 Mayfield Road to aid in its work with food insecurity in both the Jewish community and broader Cleveland community.
