KCPD investigating after zTrip driver critically hurt in shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating after a zTrip driver was shot and critically hurt on Sunday near 9th and Myrtle.

KCPD says the shooting happened just after 9 p.m., the driver was rushed to a hospital.

Details on what led up to the shooting haven’t been revealed, but the Kansas City Transportation Group says cameras are in all zTrip vehicles, so police will have video to look at during their investigation.
