Paul Humphrey selected to lead as chief of Louisville Metro Police Department

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Mayor Craig Greenberg announced on Monday that LMPD officer Paul Humphrey will serve as the next chief of the Louisville Metro Police Department. Humphrey is a veteran officer with the department and has served as interim LMPD chief since June 2024. He is a Louisville native, whose family has also worked in public service.
