ST. LOUIS – The sky will be filled with hot air balloons when the annual Great Forest Park Balloon Race returns to St. Louis.

The free event will take place on September 20 and 21 in Forest Park’s Emerson Central Fields. The race will welcome thousands of visitors as they watch more than 50 of the nation’s hot air balloon pilots float up in the sky.
